The Early Days
In 1979, two brothers Mario and Tony began working as labourers for their father’s small and humble startup homebuilding company with no machinery, just a pickup truck, wheelbarrow and some brooms and shovels. Working on site at a very young age Mario and Tony were personally involved in every aspect of the home building process from pouring the first footings to proudly handing the keys of the completed home to the new homeowner. Notwithstanding all of the hard work they did on-site, their top priority was and always will be customer satisfaction. A mantra that their father instilled in them from day one. The first home was built in Caledon East that same year and after 4 decades, the family has proudly built over 2,000 homes for their satisfied homeowners.
The Next Step
In 2006 RedBerry Homes was formed by Mario and Tony DeRose and in that year Model Homes and Sales Centre were opened at the Marl Lake Village Community in Wasaga Beach.
Present
Today we are developing and building large communities but still apply those same humble methods and guide our dedicated team players with that hands-on approach and customer care as we did in the beginning. We strive to continue the home-building legacy and dedication to excellence that our mentor and father started many years ago.
